Who we are

A community building Sri Lanka's Internet future

Sri Lanka Next Generation (SLNG) is a community based Internet initiative and an ICANN recognized At-Large Structure (ALS) representing Internet end users in Sri Lanka. We bring together students, young professionals, researchers and technology enthusiasts to learn, lead and shape the future of the Internet.

Our purpose is to build a knowledgeable, inclusive and empowered Sri Lankan Internet community — developing future leaders through education, mentorship, fellowships and networking. From workshops and camps to policy conversations, we create spaces where the next generation can grow.

As a member of the Asian, Australasian and Pacific Islands Regional At-Large Organization (APRALO), SLNG connects the local community to the global multi-stakeholder ecosystem — including ICANN, APNIC and the Asia Pacific Next Generation (APNG).
